About Conklin’s
A history of excellence in antique lumber
Conklin’s Authentic Barnwood was established in January 1970 by Leo L Conklin and his son, Terry. In 1976, Leo’s wife Sandy joined the business. As pioneers in the industry, they began a journey that would take them from rural Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania, to be known worldwide as a leader in recycled lumber. Leo and Sandy’s sons, Brent and Dwayne, have recently taken ownership of the business and plan to continue the legacy started by Leo and Terry over 50 years ago.
Helping Create Architectural treasures
As the business grew, the Conklin family found many ways to create architectural treasures by developing different techniques to bring out the beauty of aged wood. From our flooring with rich patinas to hand hewn ceiling beams, mantle beams, and custom crafted farm tables, Conklin’s offers a variety of services with a high standard and quality you would expect from a leader in the industry. This is just part of the reason Conklin’s Authentic Barnwood is truly one of Northeast Pennsylvania’s best kept secrets.
